Chris teaches Digital Strategy & Sales
Chris Pitre is a savvy digital marketer whose sweet spot is the intersection of creative and technology—a space where he’s thrived, bringing multi-disciplinary teams together, winning business, and building the kinds of client relationships agencies dream of. He’s a charming, tell-it-like-it-is professional with an unforgettable charisma and enthusiasm that’s contagious for both clients and colleagues.
Chris began his career as a Social Media Strategist and quickly climbed the ranks in a number of Houston digital agencies—ChaiOne, Idea, and Astadia—to become an Account Manager. In his current role as Director of Strategy & Planning at Softway, one of Houston’s up-and-coming independent agencies, Chris leads a team of Account Planners and Business Development specialists responsible for some of the agency’s highest profile accounts, namely Uber, ExxonMobil, SHR, and Brian Gavin Diamonds.
Outside of work, Chris is a busy man—he’s taught every session at HSA since 2011, speaks regularly at digital marketing conferences and events, and judges the AAF National Student Advertising Competition, where he is also a board member.
Chris earned his BBA from The George Washington University and sits on its Alumni Board of Directors.
He also loves Beyoncé. If you meet him, you will know this within minutes.
